Beginning to Feel Like Christmas

by rob on November 21, 2004

Normally I’m not excited about Christmas before Thanksgiving. But this year it’s different. I’m ready now…and that feels weird.

I think though it’s because of a number of reasons:

  1. It’s cold. Today it’s about 41 and back home it’s 80.
  2. Lights and decorations are out. That’s typical back home too, but it makes more sense now because, well, see #1.
  3. No Thanksgiving. Well, in Canada anyway. They already had it last month. So that’s not a huge thing to be looking forward to like I would back home.
  4. I’m ready for Christmas movies. I haven’t seen Elf yet, and can’t wait.
