UCF stinks. They lost again tonight taking their losing streak to 17 I think. It got me wondering what is the longest losing streak in college football. I found the answer from ESPN.com’s Page2 list of team streaks.
In Division I-A football, Northwestern has the record of 34 straight losses (Sept 22, 1979 to Sept 18, 1982).
In Division I-AA football, Prairie View A&M’s has the record of 80 straight losses (Nov 4, 1989 to Sept 26, 1998).
As bad as UCF is right now, they have a while to go to be the worst ever.
