Nice little article in today’s Orlando Sentinel about Upbeat Tigers feeling like Champs:

The past month has been good to Clemson Coach Tommy Bowden.

Clemson beat a pair of top-20 teams — one coached by Bobby Bowden, the other by Steve Spurrier — and he recently learned that the Tigers will play in the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando.

Clemson (7-4) also has added incentive to beat Colorado (7-5).

Two of the Tigers’ four losses came in overtime, while the two others came by only five points combined.

A Champs Sports Bowl win could propel No. 23 Clemson into the top 20 of the final Associated Press rankings for the first time since 2000.

UPDATE: Okay, so not everybody is excited about it.
