ucf’s new stadium

by rob on May 10, 2006

The University of Central Florida (UCF) of which I live just a few miles from, has been wanting to build a stadium on campus for quite a while. They play in the Citrus Bowl stadium, or whatever it’s called now. They barely fill up the bottom bowl.

Well not only is UCF moving forward with their on-campus stadium, they have an opponent set: Texas to open UCF’s new stadium

The Golden Knights will open their new on-campus stadium with a visit from the Longhorns on September 15, 2007. The new stadium will seat 45,000 fans.

Wow. That takes guts.

  • FYI, the bottom portion of the Citrus Bowl holds more than the new stadium will ;)
