greatest hits

by rob on July 8, 2006

There are some bands and singers that I just don’t want to own their albums. However, I’d like to have their Greatest Hits CD. You know what I mean?

So here’s my question for you: What groups/bands/singers would you not want to purchase their work unless it’s their Greatest Hits CD/tape/whatever?

I know in this age you can just download the songs you want, but the answer to this question I think is interesting.

I was thinking about this because some of my favorite CDs are the Greatest Hits of people like Otis Redding, Run-D.M.C., Steve Miller Band, Doobie Brothers, and Michael Jackson (yeah, I know, but his Off The Wall and Thriller days rocked!).

I think some artists I’d like to get a Greatest Hits CD for would include Steely Dan, Queen, and John Williams.

What about you?
