i heart meevee

About 6-7 years ago, I customized excite.com and made it my start page. I chose it because it had one module I loved called “My TV Favorites” or something like that. After a while I got tired of excite and moved on to my.yahoo, personalized google, pageflakes.com (that I’m trying now), and plan to check out netvibes.com later.

Many of them offer personalized TV listings, but none have been able to match the “My TV Favorites” that I longed for. I tried other sites like zap2it.com, tv.yahoo.com, and even tvguide.com back before they got all funky on me.

But now I don’t have to worry about it anymore. I found MeeVee.com. The site rocks. In fact, they upgraded everything today.

What’s cool about it is that I put in my zip code (sorry Canada, this site won’t play with Canucks) and it gives me my slick local listings. Nothing new there. So they step it up by allowing me to add my favorite shows, keyword searches, and interests…and they post up my favorites on top of my listings! They’ll even email you weekly your favorites or serve up daily RSS feeds of them too.

Sweet!

I already gushed over them on RealityBlogs, but I thought I should let you know about it too.

So if you’re in the US and you watch TV (you know who you are), don’t delay and go check out MeeVee. You’re gonna love it.
