UPDATE: I’ve decided to open up a Candy Corn Blog. Stop by and say hello!
This time of year reminds me of my favorite time of the year.
Wait, let me try starting this over. That made no sense.
I love the fall. Temps cool off. Leaves change colors (in Florida it’s all relative). And out comes the candy corn!
Man I love me some candy corn. Candy corn is to me like jelly beans are to Ronald Reagan. Seriously, if I were President, candy corn would be the Presidential candy. And like Ol’Ronny, it wouldn’t just be any candy corn (his jelly beans were JellyBelly’s), mine would only be Farley’s.
Now my beautiful wife would incorrectly say that Brach’s is the best. Although she’s dead wrong, I won’t delete any comment she makes. I’m just that kind of guy. But she’ll be wrong — just like the lot of you who dare say any other brand than Farley’s is superior candy corn!
You think I’m joking? I’m not. And I can’t find any Farley’s candy corn anywhere! Well, I did find a 5-lb bag on the internet and I was also able to add some to my Amazon Wish List!
But I need to find the local stuff. You know, hand-picked candy corn by Mr. Farley himself.
I can’t vouch that the photo above is Farley’s or an impostor. Only juushika would know.
