things i learned from my nieces

by rob on November 19, 2006

Being back with my nieces (aged 6, 4, and 1), I learned a few things.

1. The 6-year old told me that she has the superpower of supervision. My superpower is apparently strength while my wife’s is shopping.

2. The 4-year old was acting silly. I told her, “You are a nut”. She promptly replied, “You are a carrot.” Perfect come-back! UPDATE: Now my wife is popcorn.

I’m sure I’ll learn a lot more from them this week.

  • I love my shopping superpower. I'll have to use it more often!
  • You *are* a carrot, sir.

yeah, i wondered if there was a sly "carrot top" reference or orange-related thought. i think it was just the first random thing she thought of. i like that.

    "You are a carrot."

That must be where the orange comes from.

    Aren't kids great?
