Not Spanish

rob | navel gazing | Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

A couple of things I realized while in Puerto Rico:

  • Dosey-doe is not Spanish for “22″
  • Exactamundo is not Spanish for “exactly”
  • Adding an “el” to the front of a noun and ending it with a “o” is not really Spanish either

These are all part of the Texan, Fonzican, and Red-neckian lexicons, respectively.

However, I am trying to learn better Spanish.
