I finished up my taxes today. We’re getting a refund! w00t w00t! Last year we had to PAY. Oh that was the worst. I think we got a refund this year because we made a lot less money last year than in 05.
Anyway, while I was filing electronically, I had to come up with some PIN numbers for security. However, this is what it said:
Choose any five-digit number for each of your Self-Select PINs. These will serve as your federal e-file signatures. You do not have to remember them.
So I can pick any five numbers randomly and put them in and never need to know what they are ever again?
Uh, okay. Sounds secure to me.
