Thinking about Twitter again

by rob on December 8, 2007

Yesterday it finally hit me how Twitter can be used productively. So I wrote about it on my work blog: Thinking about Twitter again at effective web ministry notes:

[Twitter] is like a listserve (mailing list) in a way. I can update my twitter in various ways [on a web page, IM, email, or text message] and all those who need/want to get the update can receive it in various ways (that they control) [follow the web page, receive IM, email, text message, or RSS] — and it’s subscription based because each person choses to follow me (or others) or not.

If you want to follow me on Twitter, you may. (psst — or just look over there to the left at the top box in the sidebar called “latest status”)
