Bottom line is Fay has remained a strong Tropical Storm for days and has been moving across Florida very slowly. It’s been sitting off Cape Canaveral and Daytona Beach for over a day. In Orlando we’ve had consistent rain and 20-30 mph winds with gusts around 50-60 mph for the last 24 hours.

Current local radar (that hasn’t looked very different for a couple days)
Where is Fay going? No where fast. They still say she’ll make her 3rd landfall later today and I think it may just do that just north of Daytona. Thankfully most of the energy from Fay is off in the Atlantic but it keeps sending these feeder bands into Central Florida and probably won’t be out of here for another day (or more).
And, oh, by the way, there’s something to watch out in the Atlantic again: Invest 94
