Mission Hill wine from BC

by rob on September 7, 2008

This is where I heard it

A couple of years ago Patricia and I went to the Okanagan in British Columbia (photos).  We were impressed with the wine there especially since I didn’t automatically think of Canada as a wine maker.

But we were wrong!  Our favorite was Mission Hill.  We took a tour and really enjoyed it.  We tried icewine for the first time and it was like liquid gold!

Today I read that Mission Hill’s icewine was selected as the best in the world.  Not surprised at all.

Last time we had it was actually at EPCOT’s food and wine festival!
